Health Records App Privacy Policy
Precision Medicine involves the integration and analysis of your clinical and genomic data, now enabled by Apple’s HealthKit and Health Records initiatives. There are estimated to be roughly 20,000 to 40,000 genes in the human genome, with many genes potentially impacting a person’s health. Your Health Records may contain many different laboratory test results, including information about particular genes relevant to your health. However, there is simply not enough time for users to manually search ALL their Health Records, when doctors and patients only need the most relevant SUBSET of those records. Our app takes care of that by automating this process for Precision Medicine results, particularly those involving clinically relevant genes.
This app is an informatics tool that leverages current clinical genomics content (e.g. Health Level Seven International [HL7], Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes [LOINC]) – and assisted by a machine learning model trained on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Genetic Testing Registry – to better organize and summarize your Health Records data, and to provide useful insights for Precision Medicine.
In a nutshell, this app searches all of a patient’s iPhone Health Records, uses AI to find the most relevant ones for Precision Medicine, and presents results as a clean, simple “snapshot” which the patient can discuss with their physician. This app is designed to work directly alongside Apple’s Health app to improve doctor-patient communication of precision medicine results.
Our app does not share your data with any third party and does not use your information for advertising purposes.
